The Oklahoma Telephone Association Foundation was formed in 1993 for the main purpose of helping students pursue their academic careers in higher education. Scholarships in varying amounts are awarded to successful applicants who are dependents of employees of OTA member telephone companies. Such scholarships are available for full-time students attending Oklahoma universities, four and two-year colleges and post-secondary career technology curriculums. These scholarships are made possible through contributions from OTA members and Associate Members participating in the annual OTA Foundation Charity Golf Tournament and the annual Ghost Ball and other fund raising events held each summer.
 
In 2020, the Foundation awarded 39 scholarships totaling over $29,250. Congratulations to the scholarship recipients. This scholarship not only recognizes academic achievements, but also for commitment consistently exhibited throughout their studies. The OTA Foundation wishes them success in their academic endeavors!
